Can't update Android Wear on Moto 360 2nd gen.
Recently i bought my second wearable, a Motorola Moto 360 2nd. gen 46mm Cognac. The unboxing experience was fantastic but my enjoyment stopped soon after i found out that i can't update it to the latest version of Android Wear.
After installing Android Wear on my Android device, i went through the setup phase: pair the watch, wait for sync, etc. Then i saw a notification on my wearable about a system update. Great! However, tapping on it won't do anything besides showing a blank screen. I tryied both hard reset and uninstall/reinstall/resync Android Wear on my Android smartphone but nothing worked.
What i figured out is that Motorola is still shipping Moto 360 2nd gen with an old Android Wear version (mine shipped with LLA38E build) which seems to be incompatible with the latest Android Wear application for Android. To fix the issue you need to use an older version of the app.

- Uninstall Android Wear from your smartphone.
- Download and install an older Android Wear build from ApkMirror on your smartphone
- Pair with the smartwatch
- Update the moto 360 to the latest build available
- Go to the play store on your smartphone, and update Android wear to latest version.
- Enjoy.
